Nivid Biometric Online Authentication Solution “VAJRA”

The Biometric Online authentication system “VAJRA” from Nivid Biometrics provides a secure, reliable and extremely effective way to authenticate users. It empowers the IT administrators establish the identity of the users beyond doubt effectively every time.

The system

The VAJRA server employs a users fingerprint biometric data to establish the identity of the user trying to access the system from any endpoint whether within network perimeter or outside it.
The system reads the fingerprint data from the user and converts into a secure digital data which then used to authenticate the user using a secure verification process within the VAJRA server.
The users are enrolled with the system using their fingerprint data which is stored in encrypted format within the VAJRA secure database.

As shown in the above diagram 1, the users enrol their fingerprint data which is converted into a secure digital hash and stored by the Vajra in an encrypted format within the secure database.

The stored data is then used to verify the user while authenticating with the system.

The fingerprint data is captured from the user and converted into a digital hash and passed on to the VAJRA server which performs a secured encrypted verification with the biometric data earlier stored.

The VAJRA server can then pass the success or the failure of the verification process to the application which requested it.

Data Protection Safeguards

	The users Finger Prints are never stored on the device or the software, only a uniquely identifiable digital data called minutiae is extracted encrypted and securely stored. Hence, there is no personally identifiable data which is stored on the system.
	High quality US FBI approved sensors to capture data which are capable of hardware encryption at source.
	All data stored in a 128 bit encrypted data within the system.
	Application performs a secured encrypted verification match; this ensures that digital biometric data is never exposed to any environment.
